Donald VAUSE joined the 22nd Battalion in 1943 as part of the 10th Reinforcements, joining A Company 9 Platoon. He trained at Linton Camp before being sent to join the Battalion in Italy. Most of his photos are from northern Italy in the later part of the war, as well as sightseeing in Rome, Milan and Venice. Also skiing in Italy and photos from the road trip south in October/November 1945 on his way back to New Zealand.
